Gustaf I don,t know anything about the Gasper river. But the Bowling Green Meet-up group is going to be on part of it on 25 April. Tim or John Beaver from that group should be able to help with any info.

There is a group of us planning on doing the Green River from Dennison Ferry to the Green river ferry on May the second. It is a 8 mile trip through some of the most scenic country in the south. This trip is suitable for all paddlers and all are welcome to join in.

If you would like to do a longer paddle we could meet at the Hwy 70 bridge and take out at the Harris street bridge. That would take us past the Narrows put in. I would need to be At the narrows put in by 10:30 to meet some other people who only want to do the short trip.
Hwy 70 bridge to Narrows put in about 6 miles Narrows put in to Harris st bridge about 5 miles hwy 70 to Harris st Br about 11 miles.

What do you think about starting at the HWY 249 bridge and taking out at Kinstonsprings park? it is about 5-6 miles and easy to get to, we could meet at the Shell gas station where 249 and 70 meet at noon.

You don't have to worry about slowing us down as we don't get in a hurry on a warm Saturday going down a scenic river. We will stop once for lunch and maybe another time or two if somebody needs to stretch there legs.

Shirley I am a member of your fine group and have printed out a copy of this summers paddling schedule and plan on making it to some some of TSRA's trips this summer. I haven't done much white water the last couple of years, which seems to be the groups favorite paddles. I have gotten to the point where I enjoy be on a easy creek or better yet the lake in a long boat with a occasional WW trip at BSF to keep things interesting.
