There are a couple of us going to meet at Foggy Bottom Canoe rental ( near the narrows) Saturday morning at 11:00 and put in at Newsome Mill, take out will be the bridge at Hwy 249 and Hwy 70. This a 12 mile trip that should take between 4-5 hours. The weather is supposed to be 70 and sunny.
Any body that wants to go is welcome, Look for a green Jeep Cherokee and a white full size truck

I may be in.....maybe..... sorry i missed you last friday....i was hauling ass to get there.....made it round 12:50......didnt see you and went down to the bridge by the livery......was checkin out the water when the ranger lady pulled up....she asked if i was putting in, then thanked me when I said "hell no"....talked to her for a while then rolled back home.....again sorry i missed you.... I wouldnt have paddled in that nuts anyway.....especially with the 60 foot tall tree I saw floating by....maybe see you saturday though.....

You did not miss by much, that is about what time I Left. I have done it that high and higher but you deffinately have to watch is going on around you. Hope you can make it Saturday.

Thursday nights storms have made the Harpeth to high to paddle safely. We have decided to cancel the trip.
